CityCenter in Las Vegas
Publicized the $8.5 billion resort, including its gaming, hospitality, meetings & convention space, fine-dining and entertainment features with pitches focused on sustainability, technology, fine-art and a variety of other topics.
MGM Resorts International Restaurants
Raised awareness nationally for the award-winning restaurants within the MGM Resorts family. Responsibilities included promoting chef personalities, new menus and culinary trends.
M life
Was the account lead for media outreach and story generation on the new MGM Resorts corporate initiative. Successful placements included Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, New York Post and many other top-tier media outlets.
Studio 54
Managed red carpets for celebrity hosts at the legendary Vegas nightclub. Was required to send out pre-event media alerts, coordinate red carpet placements for the media, act as liaison between the celebrity,media and venue and send out post-event pictures and release to generate publicity.
Sahara Hotel & Casino
Worked on the public relations and marketing efforts for one of the most historic properties on The Strip. Took ownership of the website and improved the user experience with updated content and easier navigation.
Nevada Ballet
Helped launch “Spread the Dance” campaign for the nonprofit dance academy. The responsibilities for the launch involved coordinating flash-mob dance and reaching out to local media to entice them to attend the event. Social media was also used as a way to spread the word of the flash mob quickly.
Silverton Casino Hotel
As the public relations lead for the property, was responsible for all of the publicity including hotel offers, new dining menus, gaming promotions and concerts and events.
WET REPUBLIC
I was responsible for publicizing the city’s premier daylife club year-round. The majority of the account detailed trend pitching and special event planning for the DJs and celebrities that frequented the venue.
Nevada Cancer Institute
Managed the non-profit’s Rock for the Cure event ARIA Resort & Casino. Coordinated media arrivals and placement on the carpet as well as photo sessions within the fundraising event, which generated the largest donations to date of the organization.
Pink’s Hot Dogs Las Vegas
Helped to publicize the opening of the legendary hot dog stand’s first location outside of California. Was responsible for pre-opening buzz and the coordination and management of the celebrity-filled red carpet.
Famous Dave’s Regional Restaurants
Created public relations campaigns such as “Dave’s Eat Free” and “National Pig Day” to promote and drive diners to the restaurants in Southern Nevada, Arizona and Southern California. Also created and maintained social media accounts for all of the restaurants.
Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational
Helped launch the non-profit golf tournament’s first Las Vegas event. Wrote press releases, created first ever MJCI tweet-up and publicized charitable foundations that benefited from the event.
