Marketing and Public Relations Professional
This is a picture of me on my wedding day (I’m the guy in the suit, in case you were wondering). Here’s a little bit of information to get to know me better.
I am a New Jersey native with a passion for marketing and public relations. Before you think “Jersey Shore,” think again. I do not fist pump, gel my hair or go tanning. In fact, I get rather sunburned during the summer.
I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a focus on Mass Media and Public Communications. After working in Manhattan for two years at a media monitoring and media analysis firm, I moved with my then-girlfriend (wearing white in the picture above) to live among the neon lights of Las Vegas (technically it was Henderson, Nevada, but that sounds a lot less exciting).
While in Vegas, I had the opportunity to work in one of the most unique and competitive cities for public relations and marketing. It was like a playground of publicity where any promotion goes, red carpets happen every other night and the headlines went to the publicist that thought outside of the box.
Although the Vegas lifestyle was good to us, my wife and I decided to leave the city to move back to the East Coast and be closer to family. While we didn’t make it all the way back to New Jersey, we settled outside of Washington DC.
And that about sums it up.
